I am a certified dental laboratory technologist (C.D.T.). I graduated from from City Tech college of Technology New York in 2002 with honors and an A.A.S., where I excelled in all subjects and I applied my experience in sculpture and the Fine arts to dental restorative technologies (porcelain, metal, etc.). I have also been employed in New York as a dental technician with dental labs and Dentists, and I passed my Certification tests in 2007. I can tutor interested students in preparing for these difficult written exams and demanding hands on practical tests.I have the necessary tools, lab machinery,ovens/furnaces needed to acquire the confidence, skills and knowledge necessary,having worked for high-end aesthetic practices in new York City.we cam prepare hands on for ceramic build up, baking, glazing, finishing, pressable ceramics, diagnostic wax-ups, model preparation, frame wax-up, dental morphology/anatomy, and aesthetics. I am a recipient of Israel Margoshes Award for highest scholastic average from the Dental laboratory Association of New York, the Martha lorian Award for excellence in tooth Morphology rendering, the Ceramco Inc. Award for Outstanding ability in dental ceramics, and the north eastern Gnathological Society's Award for Outstanding Achievement in promoting the art and science of restorative dentistry. I am affiliated professionally with the greater new York CDT Study Group. While at N.Y. College of technology I was on the Dean's Honor List.
